FallBall Field Lining
We can use some help laying out the FallBall Fields at
Crestwood Middle School on Saturday 8/24 from 8:30AM - 12:30PM.
Expert 8/12M arc/fan liners as well as a few folks looking to learn this invaluable skill are needed.
If you have a wheelborrow and a shovel, you could also help us filling in a few holes and covering a few rocks... (This is great cross training for MS and HS Players looking to enhance their ground ball stats!!!)

on the field or the player sideline at FallBall.
At least One Coach or Team Mgr from Each Team Must Attend the Meeting

Game Days:Sundays Afternoons; SEPTEMBER 8, 2019 - OCTOBER 27, 2019
Format: Most games are played with US Lacrosse Rules in a 7v7 format with rule modifications for the short field format. The small field format results in fast paced play with a higher game intensity index.
Venue:We are at the same location again this year, CRESTWOOD MIDDLE SCHOOL - 7100 Foxcroft Dr, Frederick, MD 21703
Scoopers Program - CoEd 6U Clinic for Players in Kindergarden or 1st Grade. Four Clinic Session building to four games. Sticks & Goggles only. Loaner goggles availible. No Pads & Helmets for the boys in this division.
Four age brackets for boys: 8U, 10U, 12U and 14U teams based on the age/grade of the player, with Aug. 31 the cutoff date.
8U Boys Clinic has kids in Grades 1-2-3. They will have clinic & game format Focus is on new player skill development.
10U Boys has kids in Grades 4-5. They will play 8 games on Sunday Afternoons.
12U Boys has kids in Grade 6-7. They will play 8 games on Sunday Afternoons.
14U Boys has kids in Grade 7-9. They will play 8 games on Sunday Afternoons.
Girls Youth Division:
Three age brackets for girls: 8U, 10U, and a 14U Middle school division based on the age/grade of the player, with Aug. 31 the cutoff date.
8U Girls has kids in Grades 1,2&3. They will play 8 games on Sunday Afternoons.
10U Girls has kids Grades 4&5. They will play 8 games on Sunday Afternoons.
Middle School Girls Division In 2017, we created a Girls Middle School Division. Girls must be in Middle School to play in this division. 5th graders may not register requesting to play up unless they are 11 as of Aug 31, 2019. They will play 8 games on Sunday Afternoons with USL 14U Rules.
High School Girls Division: In 2016, we added a Girls High School Division, and it is now our largest division! Girls must be in High School to play in this division. Middle School players may not register requesting to play up unless they are 15 as of Aug 31, 2019. They will play 8 games on Sunday Afternoons with USL High School Rules, modified for the 8v8 format with 60 yards between goals.

COST:$99.00 + US Lacrosse Membership valid through 10/27 (last game day)
Early Bird Special - Save $10 if you register before August 1st!
Late Fee = $10 after August 15th Registration will close on Aug 22nd so that teams can be formed.
If we reopen a "Late-Late" registration after Aug 22nd, players will only be accepted on a space available basis.
For insurance purposes, US Lacrosse membership is required for all players, coaches, officials, or anyone on the coach/ player sidelines. Obtain or renew your US Lacrosse Membership HERE.
5 business day refund (processing fee applies) for registration before August 1. After August 1, 2019, we are unable to approve refunds except for a medical emergency where the athlete will miss 3 or more games. A Doctor’s note on physician’s letterhead stating the reason for the athletes inability to participate for 3 games will be required and verified. All Medical refunds will be prorated.
All refunds are subject to a processing fee of $10.00. No refunds will be issued to athletes who are "no shows".
WMDUSLAX will not be responsible to make up games due to weather cancelations
Coaches & Officials registration is free, butUS Lacrosse Membership is Required for all ages except 6U Scoopers
*All Players are strongly encouraged to play at their natural age level. To request to play up a level, please submit a written request BEFORE YOU REGISTER YOUR PLAYER to Tom Powell via Email at
. The approval Email will be needed as input during registration**. The Western MD chapter of US Lacrosse BOD will vote on each individual request. NO player is ever allowed to play down an age level.
All athletes playing up one level must obtain a written approval via Email from Tom Powell BEFORE registering. Sorry, No verbal agreements will be honored when forming teams.
**Please register at your appropriate age level. If playing up a level is approved, you will have the opportunity to enter this information during registration.
